Job Summary:
NMK Global is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a 12-month W2-only hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC. The developer will build and maintain enterprise-level Java applications, develop Angular front-end modules, and create SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines. The role also includes working with Kafka and Spark in real-time data environments, collaborating with risk and data governance teams, and contributing to Agile/Scrum processes to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain enterprise-level Java applications with high performance and scalability.
- Build front-end modules using Angular to support user-facing features.
- Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines for efficient data processing.
- Work with Kafka and Apache Spark to support real-time data integration and streaming solutions.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and data governance teams while following Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Technical Skills Required:
- Java development for building enterprise-level backend applications.
- Angular for creating and maintaining front-end modules.
- Strong SQL expertise, including stored procedures and data pipelines.
- Kafka & Spark for real-time data processing and streaming.
- Experience with microservices architecture and REST API development.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS or Azure) for scalable application deployment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5+ years of full-stack development experience with Java and Angular.
- Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling, and database structures.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spark, or real-time data systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
Compensation:
- $75–$78 per hour (W2 only)
- Minimum 12-month contract
