Job Summary:
NMK Global is seeking a Senior Computer Programmer to oversee, guide, and execute the development of robust software applications. The ideal candidate will review software specifications, ensure quality coding practices, perform testing, and approve final programs that store, locate, and retrieve critical documents, data, and information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation, modification, and testing of code and scripts for enterprise applications.
- Review specifications provided by software developers and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Perform final program review and provide approval for deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile or Waterfall development environment.
- Work on unanticipated assignments at various U.S. locations, as required.
Technical Skills Required:
- Programming: Java, J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, SQL
- Database: Oracle
- Operating Systems: UNIX/Linux
- Tools & Frameworks: Eclipse, Web Services (REST), Jenkins, JUnit
- Version Control & Project Management: Git, JIRA
- Development Methodologies: Agile & Waterfall
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, including Java development.
Compensation:
- $114,899 per year
